Our Open Positions

POSITION: DEMOLITION WORKER

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Safely and effectively work with hand and power tools
  • Demolish walls, floors, ceilings, and other fixtures according to scope of work
  • Assess situations and determine the most efficient methods to perform demolitions
  • Remove and load construction debris into trucks
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment
  • Follow all health and safety protocols

Requirements:

  • Willing and able to work in a team environment
  • Willing and able to work in varying temperatures
  • Committed to following safe work practices
  • Familiar with hand tools, power tools, and asbestos-related equipment
  • Strong initiative and work ethic
  • Dependability

Qualifications:

  • Some demolition experience (preferred)
  • Level 1 - Foundational Awareness of Asbestos (preferred)
  • Valid BC Driver’s License (preferred)

POSITION: ASBESTOS ABATEMENT WORKER

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Properly remove and dispose of asbestos-containing materials according to work procedures
  • Work with hand and power tools to remove walls, ceilings, insulation or other structures
  • Set up proper containments and multi-stage decontamination facilities 
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and displayed on-site on a daily basis
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Follow WorkSafeBC health and safety protocols at all times
  • Perform asbestos material removal/demolition
  • Complete drywall and construction debris removal
  • Knowledge of building two and three-stage decons
  • Knowledge of decontamination steps
  • Knowledge of moderate and high-risk abatement

Requirements:

  • Be clean-shaven to ensure proper respirator fit
  • Willingness and ability to work in varying temperatures
  • Commitment to following safe work practices
  • Knowledge of moderate and high-risk asbestos abatement
  • Strong initiative and work ethic
  • Strong communication skills and team work
  • Dependability

Qualifications:

  • min 6 months - 1 year of Asbestos Removal/Demolition
  • Level 1 & 2 Asbestos Safety Certification (required)
  • A valid BC driver's license is preferred
  • Able to work flexible hours

POSITION: ASBESTOS SUPERVISOR

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervising moderate and high-risk asbestos abatement projects
  • Supervising workers and delegating tasks
  • Assisting workers in completing projects
  • Assessing and ensuring job-site safety and WorkSafeBC protocols are followed at all times
  • Establishing methods to meet project deadlines and coordinate work activities
  • Resolving work-related problems and implementing measures to improve productivity
  • Completing all daily paperwork for projects and displaying necessary documents on-site
  • Training new workers on job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
  • Setting up asbestos containments and multi-stage decontamination facilities
  • Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager

Qualifications:

  • 2 - 3 years of previous experience in an asbestos supervisor role (required)
  • Level 3 - Asbestos Safety Leader Certificate (required)
  • Level 2 - Asbestos Safety Certificate (required)
  • Valid BC Driver’s License (required)
